2007-2008, Grandot's Blog

This blog is now dedicated to the memory of Dorothy Cochrane by her elder daughter, Scottie. I started it for her in the summer of 2007. Mom turned 90 on June 30, 2008, reaching her last big goal. She fell on July 3rd and suffered a brain injury that took her peacefully away on July 6th, surrounded by her children. I will continue the blog as a way of keeping in touch with friends and family who enrich our lives every day, but are dispersed to the four corners.

Last Day in Bucharest 'til next time!

We've loved our time with Alina, Chuck, Christie, and Andrei. By June 14, Chuck had left for his office's annual retreat at the Black Sea. We hope he'll drop by Granville on his way to San Francisco in the Fall. Can't wait for more visits with our family in Romania.
